I'm a big fan of the fantasy comic ABADAZAD by Mike Ploog and J.M. Dematteis in all its various unfinished incarnations. Maybe one day they'll try again and the third time will be a charm...

BLUE DEVIL was a fun series created by Gary Cohn, Paris Cullins and Dan Mishkin, published from 1984 to 1986. A nice humour book set on the edges of the DC universe

CROSSFIRE by Dan Spiegle and Mark Evanier (based on the DNAgents character created by Evanier and Will Meugniot) was published from 1984 to 1988, 26 issues plus some associated mini-series. Fun adventure stories set in Hollywood, might be Spiegle's best work in a long career

DARK HORSE PRESENTS was an anthology that ran 157 issues (plus annuals and specials) from 1986 to 2000. Nice variety of stuff, some readily available in reprints (Concrete, Bacchus) but a lot of forgotten gems and engaging diversions show up randomly as well

EXCALIBUR was created by Alan Davis and Chris Claremont in 1988, mostly from pre-existing X-Men and Marvel UK characters. I mostly care about it while Davis was involved (the initial one-shot, #1 -24 and #42 -67, with some fill-ins in each run), a fun and gorgeous looking book

FLAMING CARROT is an absurdist comedy series created by Bob Burden back in the 1970s, running new stories through various publishers until at least 2006 and some reprints since. Always unique, often hilarious, sometimes very strange.

Long running DC war comic G.I. COMBAT, taken over from the Quality title in 1957 and running to 1987, known mostly as the home of The Haunted Tank starting in 1961. Lots of great work by Robert Kanigher, Sam Glanzman, Russ Heath, Joe Kubert and others in the 30 year run
