I had an out-of-control defendant like Trump during #Watergate trial. His atty asked for a recess, told him he was killing himself with jury, and, unlike Trump, he controlled himself after that. But too late. Jury convicted him.

In response to Jill Wine-Banks.
The problem with defendant Trump is, he doesn’t care. He well and truly believes laws don’t apply to him. They could also be setting up an appeal based on judicial bias? Seems like they are goading Judge Engoron.

Oh, he cares about how he's seen, no question. His problem is he no longer has the faculties to do the smart thing about it.
