Re. the me too movement: rape, physical and mental assault, objectification, discrimination in the work place, un-equal pay, suffering from condescending attitudes, exploitation, diminishing value and worth, gaslighting and so much more...Are not all women victims? Just a thought.

In general terms, yes. But assuming that the "playing field" is somehow equalled-out by femaleness ignores the entire construct of privilege. Some women have always had it harder, because of color, caste, and class/wealth.

Of course I was speaking in general terms. Every individual has their own story and their own cross to bear. Each of us has felt the pain of simply not being equal in any degree of equality. Some most assuredly have the additional pain of prejudice due to race, religion and the audacity to exist.
