Still several states that will not expand Medicare. Those states are becoming birthing deserts. The hospitals are closing at alarming rates. Some women have to drive several hours to see an OBGYN. They simply do not care how many women die. And when they miscarry, they’ll be charged w/murder.

The issue has never been about abortion.

It's about controlling women.

Not one peep about the Black maternal mortality rate. They're fine with children starving at school. They're against sex education and birth control. They're all about gutting the social safety net for women and children.

Yes Medicaid expansion would help many. States claim it costs too much, but I remember when there were federal subsidies offered and certain states still said no.
Again, we are not a Pro Life nation. We are Pro Birth. After that, kiddos are on their own. They'll starve, get sick, or get shot.

Like the woman in ohio being held for abuse of a corpse after miscarrying. This just gets worse and worse for women. Ohio might be getting health care rights returned, but many states still have draconian bans on the books, especially in the south. I hope the suffering is front of ming mind for 2024
