Customers must share the blame, having embraced the convenience these companies provide. They willingly pay far more for these foods rather than choosing to prepare & cook at home, and in increasingly depending on them for regular meals, people have enabled their profits to soar.

I remember when I worked full time (and drove almost 3 hours each day to do so), I didn't have the time or energy to do much cooking from scratch. The real problem is living in a country that requires 2 full time salaries to make it.
