Necromancing Cameron may be the most interesting thing Sunak has done so far.

Booting out the headbangers and bringing in a people with a record of failure but not of active evil.

It's a sad indictment of the state of the party that not one of 350 Tory MPs was good enough for the job, though.

I see it as an attemt to detoxify the brand and to try and win back some of the more traditional Tory voters. Can't see the rabid right wingers taking it well though...or quietly.

Yeah, I think so.

He's realized there's no way to stitch the 2019 voter coalition back together so he's refocused to try and stop losing too much to Lib Dems in the Blue Wall by resurrecting the Cameron detoxification.

Hopefully, it's too little, too late, though.

People's eyes are open...
