The south of France is known for its warm sunny days. Unfortunately we arrived here during this winter so we are waiting for spring to arrive. We are not use too having to wear coats and hats every day. #firstworldproblems

People grossly underestimate how cold and gray even the south of France is in winter...!

Also, it has been much more cloudy than the North American beach town we moved here from. I am hoping that once the spring arrives and it warms up that it is mostly sunny days or I fear my wife will be looking for another place sooner rather than later. 😂

TBH, I find France (even in the south), due to the humidity and the clouds, far colder in the winter months than my part of Switzerland (with sun and no humidity). But I promise wherever you are in the south will be well and good hot and sunny by May!

That is good to hear. I lived most of my life in warm weather climates so I can tolerate the heat … assuming a/c would be available for part of the day.

I'm cold-natured, so warm and sunny are prerequisites for me! In the cold and the dark, I hibernate. 😎
