Why would Mitch McConnell block Obama's SC pick in 2016 if he thought there was a chance that pick would go to Hillary Clinton?

Obama's pick was a moderate centrist. Clinton's would have likely been far more to the left.

McConnell knew the fix was in for tRUmp.

I tend to think the antics of McConnell during that time were catalyst for where we are today. This was also the 'you lie,' era and the 1st time people started showing up at political rallies w/guns. McConnell now wants to melt into 'never trump' terrorist, but he was an early democracy killer.

I go back even further, to the fact that one of our two major political parties decided to let someone as wholly unqualified and ignorant as Sarah Palin take such a prominent national role. That she wasn't immediately shoved back into oblivion paved the way for...well, that guy.

I've said that a million times, They knew really early on the fix was in for trump. McConnell knew and stopped Obama from exposing Russia in the election. That's one guy that I hope gets what he deserves.
