I grew up on a farm and, as a youngster, I loved the #Carters because they were peanut farmers. It was eye-opening to me that a farmer could become President. Now, I adore them because they're probably the finest example of humanitarians in what's often shameful US politics. 🥜💔 #RIPRosalynn

Sad day. Very well said Canuck. Voted for him twice. He seemed almost too good of a human to be President. That probably didn't come out right. I worry about him now more than ever with his unmeasureable loss.

Right on. Politicians with that level of integrity are few and far between now, in any country! We have a pandemic of crooks and clowns.

It's truly sad that a third of our voters prefer a malignant narcissist to honorable people.

The polar opposite of the Carters. Ugh.

They were the first President and First Lady that I paid attention to as a young woman. I really appreciate all their work. May Rosalyn Carter rest in peace.

Not the best President, but the best example of how to be a former President ever.

He attained the Presidency. I'm not rating it.
