Nope.

What positive change has ever happened as a result of people not voting?

Voting is a civic duty. People who threaten to withhold their vote are being petulant and selfish.

People sometimes threaten or imply they’ll pull their votes as a political maneuver. Esp as a group it can be effective in getting the change they want.

Maybe I didn't make it clear, but my point is that sometimes people threatening not to vote for someone don't really have that intention. They're using the threat as political muscle to get what they want.

Intentions don't matter. It's immature.

And not participating in the democratic process doesn't allow people to get what they want.

"Power concedes nothing without a demand." - Frederick Douglass - the way we demand things is by raising our voices and voting, which people fought and died for.

I was just answering the person's question.
I'm not advocating for it.
