Spoutible crew, I need some help with a situation.

Small space only holding about 35-40 people. It’s popular and most nights very full. When this couple went downstairs, another customer reached down to move her purse out of the aisle. Of moving it because he was a n***** and might steal it. Thus causing staff to remove him from the premisis.

I wasn’t witness to any of it. I don’t know if the woman moved her purse as a courtesy or out of some unconscious bias. I get his reaction.

Was also not present, as it does affect one of my volunteers. I’m not really sure what is appropriate here. While the behavior was inappropriate, I understand it. I don’t really want to see these people face harsh consequences or feel unwelcome/uncomfortable returning.

What would you do?
