The environment would benefit from the end of farm factories. We’d be eating healthier meat. I understand very well the philosophical reasons for being vegetarian/vegan. All mass-produced food causes harm somewhere along the line.

Sigh, if every veggie eater had to pick their own produce they would starve. I however am country AF and am able to hunt gather and love to plant crops :)

Can you grow enough to actually sustain your household? I grew up on a beef farm with a huge garden. Even with free child labor, my mom's 2 ac were never enough to feed us entirely. In a really good year, the canned veggies would last to late Feb or so. And the amount of labor to get that much....
