Youngest is failing her first semester of college. She has some disabilities: EDS hypermobility, chiari type 1 and is autistic. We knew it would be a challenge, and it's also not the end of the world.

Any advice on how to encourage her to find a Plan B in life?
(My current career is Plan C.)

I had a similar experience in this with my daughter. Couple suggestions: try a part time course schedule she can manage, look for shorter certificate programs offered by a community college for something that interests her. Our CC offers everything from accounting to landscaping certificates.

Thank you. She's going to try to change her major first, and this would be an excellent fall-back option.
