Dear Mickey,
The answer is no. TX is so voter suppressed and gerrymandered it's almost impossible for a democrat to win. That doesn't mean we aren't trying. That doesn't mean we won't continue to fight. A little support would be appreciated here.

We do a great disservice by categorizing states as "red" or "blue". In 2020, the state with the largest number of GOP voters was 'blue' CA. The states with the highest number Dem voters after CA were TX and FL. Michigan was a 'red' voter suppressed / gerrymandered state. It got fixed in one cycle.

If we learn anything from Michigan it is that minority rule can look unbreakable, but it's actually quite fragile. To keep the minority in power, you need to win EVERY cycle, otherwise voting gets opened to everyone and your gerrymandered maps disappear. It's tough to get back. I think WI is next.
