Here is the Texas Supreme Court that just denied Kate Cox her constitutional rights and basic humanity.

All 9 justices were Republicans. All 9 were elected.

But 2 are up for re-election in 2024:

Jimmy Blacklock and John P. Devine.

VOTE. THEM. OUT.

Here's who's running and voting dates. Early voting in the Primary begins Feb. 20. Let's do our homework and get some good judges in there.

Why are some Republican judges running unopposed? That makes zero sense.

It's not uncommon in Texas. There are some districts that are so strongly republican, they can't find a qualified Democrat to run. A Democrat can't raise the necessary funds to run. There are districts (rural) that vote like 90% republican.

Which is why I've railed against the DNC policy of not supporting some races in rural or "red" areas because of the expense.

We can't afford to let these fascists run unopposed.

With no opposition, they feel validated and untouchable, and we pay the price.

I'm sure they would argue that funds are not unlimited, so how those limited funds are spent matters. Spend them in clearly unwinable races, or double down on close races ? Win one, or lose both ? GOP has oligarch money. They can do both. We have to be smarter, which means tough choices.

Yep, that's the argument.
And look where it got us.

Abandoning rural people because of a questionable return on investment is cold and cynical, and has contributed greatly to our current crisis.

As to not enough money? 255 > 211
