Seriously I hope all the rich tourists show up and dump tons of money on them to see this one, because it's probably going to eat a town this time. It's a few km from Grindavik, but most of the slopes go there.

A couple of hours ago I read an article that Iceland is telling Volcano tourists to stay away. This isn't a touristy event. Very dangerous.

That can happen.

Geldingadalir in 2021 was a very picturesque, family-friendly volcano.

The few since have been more hardcore.

This one is very big. Long fissure with tall fountains. More like Eyafjallajokull.

But still, if they leave their wallets, let them walk on the lava field...
