Donald Trump is a man so successful there are no business or academic records he hasn't fought all his life to keep secret. In their place, he gives lies—compulsive, endless, laughably transparent lies, like pretending that his inauguration drew the biggest crowd ever and it didn't rain.

Biggest tax cut in history? Try eighth biggest. Greatest economy in the history of the world? He cratered the economy, personally created a quarter of the national debt, was the only president beside Hoover to preside over job loss, killed half a million Americans by denying a pandemic.

Profoundly stupid and functionally illiterate—presidential briefing papers had to be replaced by photos with captions, mostly of him—he insists he knows more about war than generals (George Washington freed the airports) and more about science than scientists (sick people should inject bleach).

Trump is not as evil as Hitler, because evil takes intelligence; Hitler had ideas about his country and its place in the world. Trump is nothing more than a monstrous, cancerous, black hole of vanity. He is the worst person in our country's history and a graver threat to it than the Civil War.
