One thing that's unclear as to whether it's the same: will people having "blue dots" exhibit the same predilection for self-aggrandizing one-way communication & engagement in discourse only w/other luminaries, or will they engage substantively w/non-celebrities?

Time will tell I guess. But if a celebrity posts something that gets 1000 comments, it's not really practical to expect them to reply to each one, is it?

Of course, not. But responding to all of them isn't what I expect or intimated they do.

On Twitter some celebs - e.g., Chris Cuomo, Tom Nichols - routinely enough engage w/"lay" respondents. Others (e.g., Ro Khanna) having far fewer followers, AFAIK, never do, despite holding public office.
