It broke my heart when I had to leave this garden I spent 17 years making into my sanctuary. This is just the front yard, with edible landscaping. Peaches, Apricots, Blueberries, Pie Cherries, Juneberries and herbs were here among all of the usual ornamental type plants. #DailyPictureTheme #Place

There were flowers everywhere, interplanted with vegetable plants. I even borrowed a bit of land from the neighbor's lot to beautify the driveway. This is what greeted me to the back yard, my favorite #place in the world.

That swing was my favorite place to sit and rest, and enjoy the view of the garden. My Dad and I built that arbor when my daughter was 8, 30 years ago.

Another great #place to sit was the pergola on the deck, surrounded by more flowers and overlooking the entire yard.

See? Tons of fragrant flowers, and a lovely view. I laid those pavers myself, and built that fence.

I saved you a seat next to the fountain. Do you hear the water splashing into the barrel? There are goldfish in there.
Of all of this, I have this fountain still and still enjoy the sound. I've had it over 20 years now. #DailyPictureTheme #Place
