SHOUTOUT TO “The good china”. I remember growing up the “good china” came out on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I’m somewhat saddened these days to see my kids and grandkids using paper plates and plastic forks because, you know — “easier clean up”.
Anybody else?

We never use disposable dishes but also never use china because it can’t go in the dishwasher. I have my mother in laws set of china now about 80 years old.

I don’t think our china was a very expensive set. My in laws used it so much over 50 years that some of the pattern has worn off. We only brought it home after they died for sentimental reasons.
