I feel this way more than ever before. I see how "notable" accounts just post on Threads and rarely interact with their followers. What's the point?

This is true, and I stated in a Twitter Space before launching Spoutible that we wouldn't be able to succeed without Black and LGBTQ+ voices on the platform. To be 100% transparent, I would rather have more Black and LGBTQ+ accounts here than "notable accounts."

Absolutely, it's the people that make up a community. When the crowd size increases, those large attention seeking peeps will come as well.
We aren't here for them, however, they will come because they want our attention.
Also, many will stay for the Twitter $ - we don't want those people anyways.

How much longer can the dead bird survive the Muskrat's escalating mistakes, I wonder? The moment it crashes for good, all that $ will dry up faster than a gasoline puddle in an Alabama summer. We're far better anyone still sucking that cash down staying there until then.
