Newerish here, and still getting my Spoutable fins. Can someone explain the difference between an echo and a quoted spout?

Welcome to Spoutible! I hope you're getting a friendly welcome! An echo is roughly equivalent to a "re-tweet" and a quote spout is equivalent to a "quote tweet". Hope that helps!

Again, welcome to the best community online! I think you'll like it here!

Thanks for the reply, 😊 and yes I am enjoying it here very much. I did think that an echo was a retreat equivalent, but as I never participated in posting anything on Twitter I was not aware there was a quote tweet. So I guess my question is, what is the difference between them?
