Great article Michael, as an Australian child who went to school in the late 60's and 70's I remember The Dreaming being actively mocked by teachers and the First Australians described as savages for daring to fight against the European occupation. It was shameful

My school years were in Mount Gambier but all the same unfortunately. Still remember being taught about the virtues of Rhodesia and other white supremacist shit.
