Fulham/Arsenal thoughts thread:

1. Loose Arsenal

It looked like Arsenal came to play when Saka scored early. But since the goal, Fulham became the better side. Pattern of play was slow, no urgency to attack, Nketiah was ineffective upfront, and they failed to grip control of the match

2. Spirit Of The Home Fans.

When Fulham got control of the match in the first half, I could feel the Fulham fans were slowly tuning up the noise and since it reached as high as it could, the noise didn't lower. It's that fan spirit that can further elevate a team's performance. I should know.

3. Raul's Return

Now you know why Raul Jiminez has become such an important player for Fulham lately. When he was suspended, Fulham suffered back-to-back league defeats failing to score (The Burnley game was damning with 19 shots, but 5 on target)

When Jiminez came back, boom! Scored the equalizer

4. Munich Calling Again?

Joao Palhinha should've been in Germany with Bayern Munich had it not for Fulham failing to find a replacement

This match is why Munich wants him. Gave Martinelli & Havertz trouble going forward on the right, won 3/3 aerial duels, and offered grit & solidity in the middle

5. Robinson Down The Left

Something for the USA fans here as Antonee Robinson was brilliant down at LB. Kept Bukayo Saka mostly quiet, winning 7/9 ground duels and he was also attacking on the overlap, creating two chances. He and Willian tore Ben White apart to the point he had to be subbed off

6. Rice Rises Again

Declan Rice had a poor game Vs. West Ham. But it looked like he's back to his best self here. He was all over the midfield whether to attack with a 94% pass accuracy & 3/3 successful dribbles or go back to defend winning 4/5 ground duels.

It would've been worse without Rice

7. What Now For Arsenal's Title Challenge?

It's back-to-back defeats for Arsenal against teams they were expected to beat. This again begs the question: Do they have that mentality to win the league? They have the talent and the tactics. But without that mentality, you're gonna see more of this
