This is the dumbest take. Abuse of women is more prevalent because we live in a patriarchal society that devalues women and excuses men. It has nothing to do with "stronger", it has to do with men being more violent and being in the privileged position of being rewarded and excused for violence.
Andrew Senior @Avaxint
Abuse of women by men is because the average man is much stronger and more aggressive than the average woman. There are limits to how much strength can be achieved by training, and men can also train and the theoretical strength that they can achieve is always going to be more.

Men don’t come out of the womb beating women. They start with small acts of violence instead of talking, and when there’s no consequences, no questions, & no help, it escalates They grow into violent men protected by other men, until they go too far and irrevocably destroy lives, including their own

And yet it has been like this since the dawn of civilization.

None of us were around at the dawn of civilization. Abuse of women is not characteristic of hunter gatherer societies. Indeed, some indigenous cultures are famously matriarchal. Europeans’ propensity to rape was one of the most horrifying aspects of their culture to indigenous people in the Americas
