I don’t agree. Tenure means nothing without a majority and effectiveness is what matters, not age or blood.

Age has nothing to do with it for me. If you go in at 70, great. But go do something else at 78. Same for 30 and 38. I don't see anyone being as effective after 8 years in the same office.

And everyone should have to start local before rising up to state and national.

Why? All tgat does is create an ever worse Capitol to K Street cycle AND hamstrings great leaders like Raul Grijalva and Maxine Waters

We don't know that. And the great leaders being "termed out" can still be great or even better in other positions.

So fire the folks that really just want to represent me well and I like them? Why? If the district wants new blood or they want to move on we have a way to do this. Your party not working like this in your state, don't fuck with mine, f8x your local party

If our government was run more effectively, we would still have this representation but at varying levels. The way it is now, we could be losing out on more effective representation because the same people remain in the same roles for decades. It's a rotation, not a firing.

Our government is run more effectively when you nix gerrymandering, have open primaries, and stop suppressing the BBIMP vote. Why not spend some energy fixing that than telling me I can't vote for Gallego for 3 terms as Senator

We might be able to nix gerrymandering with a new crop seeing how the old crop has been perpetuating the practice.
