I wonder when someone is charged using this info if they can sue? Are you told when you sign up that any information given to them will be made available to the police?

I mean there's always that little ambiguous clause in the TOS about data going to "third parties"

they don't have to identify the third party

I think that there is a difference between third parties and the police. Huge difference between selling your info to marketers and giving information to the police.

agreed but legally I don't they are obligated to define third parties so they'll use it as a loophole.

I don't know why anyone thought zuckerberg would protect them and their data.
