And how many great new ones might we gain? There are plenty of governmental roles at every level for career politicians to not fill the same roles decade after decade.

Because that's not how it works in practice. When there's rapid turnover of elected officials (like short term limits), then institutional knowledge is held by lobbyists. And you do need people with relevant experience to navigate actually making legislation. Biden has shown us this.

Exactly. Whatever problems people have with officials who have been in office "too many" years, they pale in comparison to the increased power by those behind the scenes who will be the ONLY ones with power because elected officials will ALL be overwhelmed by their inexperience.
