The difference is that on x you are forced to see what the algorithm wants you to see.
These are merely opportunities to connect with like minded folks, if you want to. You don’t have to look at it if you prefer not to as it is in a separate tab, and it can be disabled if you don’t like it.

Don't get me wrong, I think this new "curated" and "recommended" features are a wonderful addition to Spoutible that will facilitate it's "social" aspect. However, isn't this the very concept of "algorithm" that Spoutible was trying to avoid using? I mean, a good algorithm is still an algorithm.

True. It's really annoying on X to keep having to manually switch to the chronological order timeline (if that's even an option anymore. I don't really use that platform anymore).
