Ebooks all the way. Change font size, instant dictionary, ‘hang on, who was that character again…?’ search function, never lose yr place, read one-handed without putting yr coffee down, read Stephen King beasts without breaking yr wrists, swap from kindle to phone, have a library in yr pocket…

I ended up getting a Kobo in ‘23. I debated a Kindle, but I don’t trust Amazon anymore. I had close to 700 books with them, & someone hacked my account. Instead of verifying me, they shut it down, & the books were gone.

Plus Kobo allows access to the library and loading my own epubs!

Oh no! That's outrageous. I got one of the very earliest kindles, back before I realised Amazon were... well, Amazon, but if I was starting over I think I'd go with Kobo too.

I like being able to load my own books onto it. I had been using the PC Kindle app, so my Kindle library was already saved to my PC. I just made them readable on the Kobo.

But it soured me on buying virtual content from Amazon. I use the Kobo store.

Use 2FA on Amazon!! Better safe than sorry!
