we’re fighting over the scraps left by the billionaires and corporations; we seem to have lost how important it is for all of our basic needs to be met. all you have to do is look at some of the conversations about increasing access to SNAP and how some people try to police what people eat with SNAP

Please stop blaming Democrats.

There's only 1 party out there actively and consistently taking action to hurt people - all people who aren't straight, white, wealthy, pseudo Christian men.
That's the Republican party.

Respectfully, the sitting President has the power to direct the USDA to increase the SNAP program. To act as if Democrats aren't complicit in ignoring this problem is purposeful ignorance. We all know Republicans are insane but I'm not blind to the fact that Democrats are sitting on their hands.
