I actually got to tour the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta twice. Was awe-inspiring to me. Hard to pick a favourite, although the triceratops ranks up there.

Great museum…million years ago I went to Head Smashed in Buffalo on route to the Crowsnest Pass and, for a summer, worked at the Frank Slide interpretative Center. Alberta had a phase, in the late Lougheed Years, of creating these great interpretative centres.

I lived in Alberta for 22 years. Got to see both of those sites as well. Crow's Nest Pass is spectacular!

You happen to make it to Vulcan? That was fun.

Never did the Vulcan thing but know of it through friends at uni. I was born in Calgary, raised in Rocky Mtn House, and then schooled in Lethbridge and Calgary before going to UWO in London, Ont. My Alberta roots are deep and thus my unhappiness with the state of play there.
