#1 When McKinsey Comes to Town by Walt Bogdanich and Michael Forsythe. This book is essential reading to understand how the world works and why we can point to one company as a force for evil in our lives. Incredibly frustrating to see it laid out so plainly. (287p.) 8/10 #BookSpout

2. The Nice House on the Lake Vol 1 by James Tynion IV. A horror/sci-fi graphic novel about an alien experimenting on a group of people who are saved from the apocalypse. I adored the premise of this story and the artwork is sublime. (138p) 9/10 #BookSpout

3. Oath and Honor by Liz Cheney. I appreciated the insight of a right-wing politician on J6. She also outlines, in ways Raskin didn't, how the select committee worked and the insane labour that went into their report. I hope she keeps fighting to save the republic. (Audiobook 12h) 7/10 #BookSpout

4. The Nice House on the Lake Vol 2 by James Tynion IV. The humans fight back against their alien master. For now, this is the conclusion of the story, but there's so much more that could be written. (138p) 10/10 #BookSpout
