I hate when people call women "shrill" or a Black person "articulate".

If someone is particularly impressive in their public speaking and/or are v compelling speakers, i try to be mindful of my comments, especially if they're a Black person.

I have trouble speaking and word finding at times due to a TBI. A LOT of people are more articulate than I am. I would NEVER use that word to point it out.

Agreed! I only comment when someone is super compelling and I'm very specific about how that's not a common skill set the average person has. Compelling speakers are amazing and it's so great when people use it to better the world around them.
