Beautiful story, I tried to post the video from cbs Sunday morning earlier. What are the odds that Habitat for Humanity owned the property? She has a great history too and was instrumental in making a Juneteenth a holiday.

I just learned of this and I’ve been living in Fort Worth for over 20 years and following Opal Lee’s story because of her activism.

I love that they are giving her the land and building her house… But I just don’t know why it’s taking two years
