The media no longer reports news; they create a narrative that suits their purpose. Their purpose is to make money.

Stop listening to anecdotal evidence presented as fact by the media. Stop listening to the polls. Block out the noise. Do something tangible, such as donating, postcards, etc.

Be interesting to see what happens to their industry after Trump goes down for the count (and with all the hard work on our side, it's coming).

Instead of making rational decisions, both newspaper and TV media see their audience slipping away (thus their revenue) and they’re increasingly willing to try ANYTHING to stabilize the situation. So far, nothing (including buying Twitter 😏) has worked.

Don't forget about volunteering for a campaign.

We have a big special election in New York coming up on February 13.

My 1st masters is in Mass Communication. I'll never forget a professor saying that networks aren't in the business of imparting news or creating entertainment, but to sell eyeballs/ears/wallets to advertisers. End of story. That really sickened and stuck with me.

I have stopped watching msm and reading any nyt/wapo articles unless they’re gifted. They are failing their duty and reason to exist
