Reminder that seizing children from a marginalized group is a long-standing tactic of genocide, both in America (ie "residential schools" for indigenous children) and elsewhere, and that this kind of shit is literally what Putin has an ICC warrant for war crimes for.

US had the same BTW, it just hasn't been acknowledged yet -There were more than 523 government-funded, and often church-run, Indian Boarding schools across the U.S. in the 19th and 20th centuries. Indian children were forcibly abducted by government agents... 🤔
