Betting turnout will be low in NH. There are tons of mailers and TV ads here...but hardly any lawn signs. And not that I hang out with Republicans, but I haven't heard much if any talk about the primary.

Lastly, Biden and the Democrats raised $100 million at the end of 2023. The narrative that Democrats are in trouble is just simply false based on the data and the facts on the ground. If turnout is also low in New Hampshire, then it could be an early indicator that Republican enthusiasm is low.

One factor I haven't seen noted anywhere--for either NH or IA--is the 'Why bother? We know who's going to win' (both wrt the primary and, less so, the general) one.

That of course 'hides' other secondary factors like low enthusiasm.

The mailers have been ridiculous. We’ve averaged 5 a day. Husband is registered undeclared. There has been a definite uptick this week courting that vote in hopes that they will choose to vote in the Rep primary.

Lawn signs in Michigan was apparently one of the ways Michael Moore predicted crime-spree-don’s win in 2016. He said they were literally everywhere.

It's not science, but there's definitely something to it.

There are still some TFG signs...but those are the people who have them up year round to declare their bigotry to all...

Is New Hampshire in-person or mail voting?

In person. We have mail in, but it's excuse-only absentee ballots.
