In 1982, I got my first Rubik's cube. I spent a weekend figuring that damned thing out. I must have chewed up 20+ hours but made a ton of notes and within a few days, I was able to solve it consistently in 3-4 minutes. My best time 40 years later is 64 seconds. The world record is 3.47 seconds!!

With the internet and so many published tutorials and videos on YouTube, I have embarked on learning new methods but that requires so much memorization of algorithms. My brain can only handle so many at my age. Still, I am determined to crack the one minute barrier!
