Tonight's dinner was essentially a cheese plate. No cooking, just a little prepping and slicing. Six cheeses (3 familiar to us, 3 new), crusty multigrain bread, sesame/gruyere crackers, baby pistachios, marinated artichokes, grapes, cucumber, cherry/lavender jam, and 3 types of honey.

Basically, we get a box of cheese every month. Usually 3-4 cheeses, in a fairly wide variety over time. We selected the "ok to send us funk" option, but most of the cheeses have been fairly palatable. Each box comes with cracker pairings and other good matches. We add some fruit/veg and charcuterie.

I do this allllll the time. I bring out a big board and just feast. By myself 😂. I’m currently addicted to this Divina orange fig spread:

Ooh, I’ll have to see if I can find it at our market! I’ve also had the spicy version (chili fig) and that’s excellent.

That looks good! We have SO much jam in our house right now, but I'll keep this in mind for when we need to buy more. My son would devour this, no doubt.
