Utah parents may soon need to ensure their child is potty trained if they want to enroll them in kindergarten, according to a newly proposed bill.

doesn't that go without saying? on average, isn't a physically & developmentally typical 5 year old well out of diapers? what is the intent behind this?

When I was a young mother, potty training was completed by age 3. But who is able to do the training when both parents work full time? Daycare won’t. Who is raising our children? Insert rant here on how women entering the workforce en masse allowed wages for all to stagnate for 50 years.

What planet r they on? Preschools require kids to be potty trained to enroll! Meanwhile developmental disability needs whatever time it takes.

Hi Susan,
The bill makes exceptions for students with disabilities or other conditions.
