Thanks! Still running it now. I did update my kernel, though.

I'm on Pop OS right now and we were bumped up to 6.6.10 last week. I was kinda sad about it.

I've heard good things about Pop. I generally stick to Arch based now though.

I've experimented/installed Arch and, long term, that's where I will be. I strongly prefer Pop's GNOME 42.5 to Arch's latest 45+ and I haven't figured out how to prevent that or if I should. I do really like Arch with Hyprland and may go back once I'm more competent with shell scripting.

If you like Arch with Hyprland, you may want to check out Archcraft. It's Hyprland implantation is my favorite. The Wayland compositors for Archcraft are not free, but Aditya does amazing work. https://ko-fi.com/s/71d0e298d9

Thanks! I'll check that out. I'd much rather donate to Linux contributors than pay Microsoft a subscription to use an OS.

Since leaving Windows last July, I've found myself really enjoying un-Microsoft-like desktops ... keyboard shortcuts, animations, themes applied to all apps, etc.
