I don't think it's a good idea to crap on other states for being "red" or the people there as being "deserving" of the leaders they get.

In the first place, because of the gerrymandering and other reasons why bad leaders are in power.

They always raise gerrymandering, which doesn't impact statewide elections. No one has ever proved that voter suppression makes much difference.

These people live in states where the majority repeatedly votes for very ugly shit.

They choose to stay.

So yeah, the fingers point at their neighbors.
