1) As soon as I realized that our political system/media is a business model designed for outrage and money, the more everything has made sense these last 10 years. And no, I’m not saying everyone is the same. I’m very much in the pro democracy camp.

2) look at the last 4 years of actual bipartisan significant legislation that’s passed. I think I saw something like it’s more than the last 40 years. But you’d never know that. Because it’s literally barely talked about. Almost like it’s bad for business to discuss real work being done.

3) They made the post office solvent for the next decade….using the plan DeJoy asked for. The person we were made to believe was the devil himself in disguise. This is just but one example of time after time, when the media circus moves on, you see a pattern of major items passing.

4) yes he was doing shady shit, but why did the dems pass it? I don’t know. It’s really turned me off from national politics. It’s hard to even watch MSNBC anymore bc they really just spend the entire day bitching about trump and nothing else. It’s insufferable.

5) I say all of this to say, I fear what a determined faction of this country could do to undermine our democracy and feel the major players don’t actually take it seriously enough. These elements aren’t playing for sound bites, they play for keeps.
