Garden Breathe Spout

I watched these birds #surf the sea for food. Initially, I thought one caught a penguin. But a closer look tells me this may be some sort of skua. I find the white spots on their backs particularly fascinating. Are there any bird watchers that can help me ID these birds? #DailyPictureTheme

iPhoto info says Magnificent Frigatebird, which is a cool name, but I think it's wrong.
The bill is wrong. Where was the pic taken?

Whoa, that's an intense looking bird. I agree with you, the tail feathers and bill are clearly different.

I love the white delta on the back.
Probably drones from Antarctic terrorists.

I took these on an Antarctic trip. So I'm going to have to agree with you again. My closest guess was a pomarine skua but that doesn't seem accurate either.
