YES! the onus has always been on the consumer to reduce, reuse, recycle while the companies rake in $millions and have no responsibility. Some of the worst offenders: #Amazon boxes and plastic, CocaCola and other like companies plastic bottles, Big Ag / grocery store food wrapping.

Absolutely! As a small business owner we get too many shipments packed in styrofoam packing peanuts. There are biodegradable options which I am sure are more expensive. Force companies to use better packaging. Noone thought smoking in restaurants would go away but it did.

Yes, every state and every country should. If a company makes a thing, and profits by selling that thing then the company should either already have plans in place on how to deal with the product at the end of its life or contribute a portion of profits to those that do deal with it.
