Any term used to describe a concept can and will be weaponized in this hyperpartisan climate. Best we can do is explain in simple terms what the concept means so hopefully people don't react to the weaponized term ("woke" or "CRT"), and *think* about what is being discussed. /END

So this is a branding issue? But what happens if CRT is expained as "teaching "the ongoing effects of slavery and racism in the United States" in public schools"? Does that affect the 12% favorability (CRT question) or the 46% favorability (CRT defined question)? /3

"But in response to a different question asked of the other half of the sample, those surveyed oppose by 53%-41% the teaching of "critical race theory," which holds that systemic racism is institutionalized in America to the advantage of white people." /2
