Oy, so my mom, who was just hospitalized for Parkinson's related Addison's disease, is severely dehydrated, and, in addition to an iv, needed a catheter placed in her urethra. When I spoke with her on the phone she was a bit mixed up, saying "so they put a tube in my--my--butt-- "

my sis in the background is saying "not your butt, mom, your"--my mom interrupts, "in my-, my- vagina" giggling a little as she seems to know she's getting it wrong. It was a silly and concerning but mostly silly moment, which I needed, as I still can't read between the lines of everything I'm
