OK your article post sparked a conversation w/my check out person at Trader Joe’s…lead me to find out not only that one can grow “Jerusalem artichokes” in buckets Successfully, but also about a local farmers market vendor that grows raspberries for teas in containers. Started in buckets. Now using cloth pots. They are lighter, better drainage, almost never get rootbound and are re-usable. They even have handles for easy carrying. Come in all sizes. Love those things

I use for potatoes and tomatoes yearly, got reddish ones for the tomatoes.
