Re ads on Spoutible: we need 'em to pay the bills; it's just the way the world works. Even nonprofits like NPR have near constant ads (i.e. "underwriters"). And anyone complaining about ads...do you watch YouTube? Use FB or any other SM site? Watch any streaming service that now almost all have ads?

I have no animosity against ads, so long as they are not for "Buy gold, Get a reverse mortgage, I promise this diet will work, blah, blah, blah. Any ad aimed at ripping people off should be banned.

X is running a "commemorative pen holder to remember the assassination of Julius Caesar". The quality advertisers and even the 3am infomercial -type advertisers are long gone. I've got no issue with ads on Spoutible
